We planted ten Weeping Willow trees along the western edge of the pond. I constructed protective planting tubes to discourage deer. We reseeded and spread straw around the pond where some erosion is occurring. The rest of this visit was spend tramping about and collecting wild flowers to bring home.
The primary activity for this visit is the completion of the seedling planting for the CRP area. Christopher and Sophia joined me on the 18th and 19th.
