April 19, 2004 Visit
Sandy and I traveled to Sharpsburg and met Wallace Fischer and his father, Ray Fischer. Wallace Fischer has purchased the Depue farm and is remodeling the home.
We spent most of the two days clearing brush from the driveway. Wallace is going to brushhog the driveway after we deal with several larger trees and a number of fallen trees on the north/south portion of the driveway. I will also have to clear the drainage ditches and add several culverts.
We decided to build the new cabin near the trailer.
I got GPS readings for a number of driveway boundaries, the well, the spring, and the future cabin site.
There were many wild flowers; the redbuds were in full bloom, and the streams were running nicely.
